Trial and Error

For my third year in a row I’m musical director for the Trial and Error charity show at the Old Bailey in Court No. 1, 11th – 13th March. This year it’s entitled Strictly Trial and Error. The format is the verbatim transcripts of past trials famous and infamous, tales both humorous and moving. I rewrite lyrics for appropriate songs, and the cast of judges, QCs and supportive chums play out the trials and render the songs with gusto and/or deep feeling…

The charities are the Sheriffs’ and Recorders’ Fund (helping ex-offenders) and PAN Intercultural Arts (helping victims of human trafficking). https://www.pan-arts.net PAN’s fine choir – the Amies Choir – contribute mightily to the evening’s entertainment.
